In September of 2023, we learned about a horrific breeding/hoarding situation inside a home in Texas. 49 Asian Leopard Cats and early-generation Bengals had been left sick, starving, and wounded when the breeder passed away. They had been housed in tiny, filthy crates and used for breeding their entire lives. When we were asked if we could help, we jumped at the chance and took in four. Thankfully, we have broken that cycle, and these cats will never know abuse or neglect again.

Chai – was born in 2017 and is the only male out of the four. He was terrified, and we were told he lived alone. He had a mangled front paw that was missing two toes, with the third toe broken, exposing the bone. Thankfully, we were able to do surgery to repair what we could. He’s been recovering in the Wellness Center, but he will move out with the rest of the group once he’s healed. As always, we will do everything we can to welcome all four of these amazing little wildcats and give them a safe, lifetime home.
