Become a Volunteer at WildCat Ridge Sanctuary!

Volunteer Work Party Season is here!

We’re gearing up for a very dry summer, which means fire prevention is our top priority. Our work parties will focus on creating and maintaining fire breaks to help keep our animals and property safe.

Tasks don't involve direct contact with the cats
, but they are every bit as fun and rewarding. Projects can be landscaping tasks such as brush clearing, removing blackberries, or weed whacking, and volunteers need to dress appropriately for the weather. Please be aware that activities can be strenuous at times.
After the workday, we’ll finish with a short tour to visit some of our cats. We’ll also be working on preparing the large tiger play yard in Alpha.

Work group work parties start at 10am and end no later than 2pm. Each work party has space for 10 volunteers. Here are our upcoming dates:

  • Sunday, April 26 - OPEN
  • Sunday, May 3- OPEN
  • Sunday, May 10- OPEN
  • Sunday, May 17- OPEN
  • Sunday, June 28 - OPEN

Email [email protected] with questions or to sign up.

In addition to individual volunteers, we welcome corporate and professional teams, nonprofit organizations, animal rescue and advocacy organizations, animal welfare volunteers or professionals, college and university service groups and clubs, and community groups — to name a few.
