Sage
Sage – In September of 2023, we learned about a horrific breeding/hoarding situation inside a home in Texas. 49 Asian Leopard Cats and early-generation Bengals had been left sick, starving, and wounded when the breeder passed away. They had been housed in tiny, filthy crates and used for breeding their entire lives. When we were asked if we could help, we jumped at the chance and took in four. Thankfully, we have broken that cycle, and these cats will never know abuse or neglect again.
Sage – was born in 2017, making her the oldest of the three girls. She is very thoughtful and seems wise beyond her years. Being older, she lived in that terrible environment much longer, and it seems to have had a profound effect on her. She is much more cautious and spends less time playing as Poppy & Saffron. We’re hoping she will open up and relax with more time, and we’ll do all we can to make that happen.
